Got Steam? Want 1.6?

Its not out for a few days, if your like me and want to play NOW!!!

Try this at your own risk!!!
It worked for me, a few 'text replacement' issues but nothing the autoupdate wont fix.

Start > Run
regedit
[Enter Key]

On the tree on the left goto
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Activision\Call of Duty 4

change "Digital Distribution"
to "Not Digital Distribution"

Install a 1.6 Patch

change the "Not Digital Distribution" back to "Digital Distribution"

And play!!

I've played 3 maps on Cain's with steam open, and i've not had one issue.

The patch has still yet to appear on Steam?!?!?! I'd be well PO'd at that.

Fair compromise over having scott destroying my CD's.

Wanted to play lastnight, but did not allow me to patch so I did a lil 'investigation' into it
