is anybody else haveing trouble with pb even after the update?i got booted so many times i uninstalled cod4 and tried to uninstall pb,ended up haveing to delete pb.then reinstalled the game and pb and updated.still getting a comunication error,and getting booted.is everyone going through this?

I was booted yesterday. Went into PB and did a manual update, that fixed the problem.

go to evenbalance.com and download pbsetup. That should take care of your issues

if only it were that simple,i already have the pb setup tool and tester.also i manually updated and nothing works.on the test punk buster PnkBstrB.exe will not function at all.i uninstalled the game and punkbuster,but pb is like a virus you cant get rid of so i manually deleted and reinstalled and updated.the stupid thing still dont work,same problem.ran out of time,i will try again when i get home tonight.pb

here comes another weird try at a solution by me

Try opening your own server, that will update PB for ya... at least i hope so... i really need you to get back to the game, you and dougbob are the only CLR that i can kill

It has farted up my PB.
Last night I got kicked for a PB issue. So I updated manually and it worked fine.

Tonight I get this


So I figure I need to update PB again. But, no, it's up to date.


And the service is running.


Anyone have a clue??

It might just be pb...having problems again.

After you run it twice, make sure you rebooted to removed the B service. It puts a runonce tag in to remove the service on boot up. Check your services.msc and see if the B service is gone.

Paceman,that is the same thing it says when it boots me.i have uninstalled cod4 and pb and used the tools from evenbalance,still does not work.
