As for the friendly fire thing, that takes some getting used to as well, but after just an hour or two you get the idea. I saw Ryewhiskey last night kill me through the killcam and it was a beautiful thing to see. He had a teammate running perpendicular to the two of us so he fired his trusty M4 at me, paused ever so briefly as he teammate rushed by, and then finished me off an instant later.

Thanks Tuck. You get some good hits in too. The HC server is great, the smaller person size, means you really, really have to pay attention more. It gets more hectic as more people get on, and really there is a different game. 7 to a side or less is a much different game then 9 on up. The two play styles will be decidedly different. Once you hit 8-9 players per side you can effectively take of dead-silence and jammer for the most part. It might come in handy sometime after that but not as much.

You really have to be careful where you put nades and AS's. I can't tell you how many times I kill myself with the AS on the team. Happens about every third time. Nades, half the time I don't bother throwing them, I kill myself probably about 25 percent of the time, LMAO. I'd much rather just shoot. Nothing fancy either. LOL. Thanks Tuck, reading that made my day, as I don't intentionally do that. Reflex.

I remember one night Pidgeot was about to get killed on Crash, going up the 2nd story stairs. I was at the top and saw her and an enemy enter the bottom part of the stairwell. I couldn't get a bead on the bad guy, in my world time slows down and I couldn't hit one without hitting the other. I hosed them both, effectively killing the bad guy, leaving Pidgeot intact and kiling myself. I couldn't let a team-mate die!

HC server is good times.

No problem, dude. I think you, Phantom and Nailik are the best players on the HC server, so I get special glee when I kill one of you guys. It doesn't happen frequently enough, of course, but I'm happy if I can just hold my own.

The HC server really requires discipline and patience, which are foreign to the regular TDM server. As a matter of fact, discipline and patience are probably liabilities on the regular server. The FF thing is just part of it, too.

The vast difference between what it takes to be good on the two servers is actually kind of interesting.

* In the regular server, if you want to make it to the top of the kill counts, you pretty much have to nade spam, hence the 3-nade perk is important. If you don't nade spam, you're shorting yourself a dozen kills in the typical round. But 3 nades is an almost useless perk in the HC server as you rarely get a chance to throw ONE nade, much less three.

* In the regular server, the air strike is lethal and highly valued. I've killed 10 and 12 enemies at a time with the airstrike. But in the HC server, if you get ONE kill with an air strike you did pretty well.

* In the regular server, you take pains not to get the heli. At least half the time, you get stuck with the heli and can't even use it. But in the HC server, you can almost always launch the heli and it is flat out LETHAL. If you're playing on the HC server and you hear an enemy chopper approaching, you'd better get your hind end inside because being outside is almost certain death.

The other team almost never does. It's too dangerous to expose yourself to the chopper when ONE bullet can take you out. Personally, I hide like a little girl when the enemy chopper is out. If I could crawl under a bed, I would.

I couldn't be any more happier with the HC server i did miss playing with every one on the regular server but HC was like Crack to me when i first tried it out i tried the old one but ther was just to much chaos (especialy when you got used to the teamwork needed in the HC servers)

i play 95% regular server maybe 5% hc.i like the nade spam and crazyness of the regular server.

So for every 95 minutes of TDM you play 5 on the HC server. You need to play more TDM , that way we can see you on the HC server more Jeffro. I'll be logging your hours now.
