Any problem connecting to the server?

Hi!


Played on the COD4 server this morning and everything went fine... Got back to play this afternoon and the game tells me "waiting for serial number autorization" and then I get disconnected because it take too much time to log in...

I can log on other servers without problem.

Any hint how to solve that? I really want to kick K Phantom's butt!

humm for the message "waiting for serial number autorization" it's the game that verify your CD Key.

Nyway I had problems connection all day long so I don't know..

i think either they changed dns settings or I dont know what they did, flushing dns might help
start cmd and execute ipconfig/flushdns

so, it appears that users that happened to fall into timeframe when their key code needs to be reauthorized "waiting for authorization " message they are out of luck, including me, because master server that does authorization either is down, or they have moved it and dns have not propagated yet, usually it takes 48-72 hours for dns changes to propagete completey on all major dns servers, yeah its a bummer, but most likely it will be up soon, maybe tomorrow morning?

looks like activision folks FUBAR-ed the server pretty badly.

Got the same issue here. Just reinstall the game after a main HD change, I tought I did something wrong but no.

However I can connect to the HC server just fine.

may need a server reboot.i can connect to any server,except the regular tdm server here.i can connect to any other i try.

if so can you tell me what is the cod4master.activision.com's IP address ping is returning , maybe we can find workaround

No, the master server is down.

Master server down here too. IP Returned from ping is 63.146.124.21
