Problem

Hey guys.

Uhh I have a little problem here. When I came back from school today I tried to log in a server. Only thing is that when I click on the button JOIN GAME it shuts down COD4. I tried to re-install the game but still does the same thing. You know what's happening?

I had a problem with my profile once so i made a new one.

had to resart 7 times each time getting atleast one gold weapon. Fate is cruel.

Made backup often will save your head from getting hit on the wall when this happen

Already happen to me, put back the backup, and loose what... 2 hours of gamming completion... Not a big deal to get it back

but seriously, i just have it in my auto backup program (its the only thing in there atm...) saving it to the backup hard drive

lol only thing is that the problem WAS the PROFILE. So even if I save it, problem will continue.

Well, I mean, made frequent backup of a working profile, not a f*** up one

ohhhhhhh, that explains why your level suddenly lowered out of the blue. But yeah, after you complete something important, make a back up.

The thing about back up is even the backup files can be corrupted... Happen to me twice

Make a folder with backups.
Save each as new backup name, i.e. 2, 3, 4, etc...

Delete them as they become unnecessary. win win
