I HATE the bugginess. I've had 1 BSOD on my system before this game, and at least 15 while playing this game. Every BSOD I get on Vista just annoys the bejesus out of me, because that's the one thing it's best at, keeping those things away.

I've locked up because of the processes involved with my Avira competing with Call of Duty 5.

Never a BSOD, and I run Vista.

Cant alt - tab either without a serious hang or crash.

In regards to the BS- Im talking about you see this in the bottom left of the screen:

I don't normally pay much attention to the chat (too busy just trying to stay alive ), so that kinda stuff doesn't bother me much. I have had people call me a noob and whatnot for using marty or betties. I just come back with "Oh, you hurt my feelings".

You're gonna get whining in any game, though, so you can't really blame that on COD5.

As for crashes, since fixing the bug when it would load Cliffside, I have had very few issues.

any time i see the word cheat or aimbot, i just throw this out there and all of the complaints seem to stop.

Likes: community , destroying tanks,
Dislikes: spawns , people crying that cannot handle tanks or if you kill them with the tanks too much. But mostly the spawn problem , this is the one thing that can make me quit to play this game.

being able to even get in the game.
Seeing all the regulars from the forum in the game, makes me feel at home.
HC is good, if I get lucky enough to hit somebody at least they die.
large maps like airfield
you can actually duck behind something and nades dont kill you

dislikes:
dogs, das mutts ist der sheist
glitches in the game itself, every time I throw a nade it switches weapons on me.
Artillery seems to last a bit long

I dont complain much anymore. I just like to play no matter what. I'm used to gettin dead so much i've developed a strong sense of patience with the whole process. Doesnt bother me in the least. I'm not that bad of a player. When I travel to my place in Bangkok, I'm able to play on a few local servers there and in Japan and I place in the top 1/3 most of the time.

Maybe everyone should focus on our community more and quit worrying about the small things. Just a suggestion.

Oh, and I did kill Rye one time. I was shooting at someone else and he ran across my line of fire.

Hmmmm i use Avira. I wonder if that is what's causing my problems on XP. I seem to black screen a lot mid game and sometimes BSOD when i quit.

As an admin, I agree with you completely. However, there isnt really a need for you to get involved in the arguement. As a rule of thumb, dont address these people directly- if you dont respond they go away in a few minutes.

Also- the problem will not go away, ever. I was just listing my pet peeves and general dislikes regarding this game.

I also think that a great many people can handle the tanks, they just dont enjoy the effort the game takes to play against them. They being myself included. If there is a generalized attitude regarding tanks that causes people to be insulting and rude about it, then I am quite happy that those types of people have found a different place to be- because our environment is supposed to be fun and collegial, not selfish and insulting.

Tanks-- Love to killem, Love to play them. But what is good for the lair is good for me.

There ARE some team play on chat at times, just get online with Apache or BlackArrow or Me, and we will usually try to get some movement or attack vectors going.
(Although I have had people ask me to shut up, they are usually the "I don't like anything, and everyone is a Hacker" )

Da Bad--- The ()&()*^&*^( spawn system. Ad Nauseum.

Drisel or Rye protecting Said tank from my over-zealous use of Rockets or Sachel's.

My mouse is going out, glitchy, so I'm dead 9 out of 10 times even if I shoot first. Aim for Head and shoot into thin air.. lol
Really irritating when you have a 1/2 or 1/3 K/D round after round.
That is not the game dynamics, just can't afford a new mouse yet.

A machine gun that shoots .30 cal bullets, and hits, shouldn't they be dead? Annoying when you beat someone to the trigger, and the inaccuracy of the big honkin gun kills you faster than the other player.

Yes, the SMG's are overpowered. But you CAN kill anyone with any weapon. Mostly, Sometimes, Kinda,,, Sorta..
