I personally hate the M1. I am struggling through the challenges for it. I had a much easier time with the other rifles. I am comfortable with the open sights on both the SVT and the Gewehr. With the M1, I seem to have a harder time killing people for some reason. Maybe I'll try the aperture sight on it and see if it helps.

I like to use the suppressor/flash hider on the guns that have it as an option. I have two "stealth" kits at all times with suppressor and camoflage, one with an SMG and one with a rifle. What is the difference between the suppressor and flash hider? It seems to me that the suppressor is quieter. Is this the case?

When I was in High School, I had a friend who had an M1 his grandfather gave him. Like your uncle, Apache, he'd taken it home with him at the end of the war IIRC. We went and shot it a few times. Pretty cool...

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
