Coaxial MG

How do you use the Coaxial MG perk? I haven't been able to figure it out. I just switch to the turret MG and get killed when I try to switch weapons in the tank. (I know we don't have tanks, but another server I play on when this one is empty has tanks )

I'm not sure that I ever used it (except there was a single player mission in which you used the tank's flamer...but I forgot what key), and have heard that popping in and out to use the roof mount is better since the other you have to turn the tank for. Have you tried key 5?

It is the Grenade button, when I've used that perk. It's pretty is if you have your grenade mapped to the middle mouse button.

Although I think it's been at least a week or more since I've played some COD....stupid work and travel
