It probably isn't Steam's fault. I would think they would patch as soon as they receive it from the developer.

Regardless of who is at fault, buying a game from Steam has become a problem for me.

I personnaly never liked buying game from Steam... The last game I bought from steam is Left 4 Dead and it's just because it was 50% off, otherwise I would have bought a retail copy of the game, I prefer having original disc, whether you can burn a "backup" of you downloaded steam game.

L4D is the only game I bought from Steam, and regarding the issue you're having today with the update still pending 2 days after its release on the web, I don't think I'll buy any COD game on Steam... This is totally awful support from steam...

So far I have like Steam very much. Being on the road and gaming from two computers can be a hassle having the games online online helps out a lot.

            Here is a fix.

The last patch was a day wait. I'm tired of Steam always being the last to update honestly, it's quite annoying. I have alot more than one game from them also and each time I'm thinking longer and longer before buying it. One day I'll sell my account.

                          Single player games =

                          Multiplayer games =

I dont really think it is a problem, bu more like a gratification issue.
The patience factor for updates is the cost of the update.

One day fine, two days, not so fine. It's like that with more than one game. Very annoying after a few games.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
