If I bought CoD from Steam, How to update Punkbuster?

Pbsetup.exe asks me for a path to the executable this is an applaunch through Steam.

How do I update my PB for CoD World at War?

    No problem:

    1) http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=support.php
    2) Click PBSETUP and save to your desktop
    3) Run the program without COD World at War on
    4) Accept the Terms
    5) Scan For New Games
    6) Click the name of the game from the list
    7) if you used the default install location (from the game when it installed) click okay- if not, point it where you custom installed the game
It will run for a few min and you will see the game updated to the latest vers.

I keep the pbsetup.exe on my desktop so I dont have to go digging for it later.

The shortcut created when I downloaded the game from Steam is this:

      "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 10090

      PBSETUP does not recognize it.

The path provided by PBSETUP when I am trying to add CoD WAW is this:

      C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\

This path does not exist on my computer.

      More thoughts on this please.

Well I pointed the PBSETUP game path to this:

        "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe"

And this is working so far. I mean I have not been booted by PB yet.

        Keep your fingers crossed.

Glad it appears you got it sorted Aidan.

Point PunkBuster at the Program\Steam\SteamApps folder

The last folder you want it pointed at is your WorldAtWar folder.
I did not buy this through steam, so I dont know if it is in the Common folder or the User folder

If you do this you should be fine.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
