Settings for a 100 Tick Server

I've noticed that every time you close the game, it resets...so every time u load the game, after it being closed, open the console and type exec 100tick

i don't have it in the consol I have it in the CFG file. I will try it though.
tried it and came back exec: couldn't exec 100tick

How do you go about changing the .txt file to a .cfg file? I renamed it as autoexec.cfg, but obviously it's still a txt file after that, but just with that name. How do you go about actually changing its file type?

When the fie is open, choose "save as" in the file type dropbox, select All files instead of .txt...then in the file name, add .cfg to 100tick

or even if you have it open in notepad
navigate to the folder and type this in with the " included
"100tick.cfg"
dont even need to change the type etc.
it tells windows to save exactly to that name

add .cfg to 100tick

Thank you for the reply, but what do you mean by that part? I tried selecting all files while saving as, but it didn't change anything

I'm assuming windows here.

Redownload the file in Cains post
Open it up

file > save as

now locate your game dir in steam dir
usually its
c:\program files\steam\steam_app\common\couter strike global offencive

(my spellings bad and i have a diff folder)
mine is
D:\Game Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive

now go into
\csgo\cfg

type in the filename
"100tick.cfg"
exactly like above here inc the "

Ah, thanks, I think I got it. I didn't notice the attached file or know that quotes around file names did that.

I seem to have helped my hit reg. Since starting to play this game i've always felt something was 'off' compared to every other game we've ran and that my higher ping was actually a problem for once.

Saying that i'll probably be back to normal from today showing that last nights better rounds were just a fluke lol.
