Couple thoughts,
1. I miss train and aztec
2. For friendly fire to work there needs to be a forgive mechanism to forgive the errant shot
3. Vote kick thresholds are insane - I was just in the server and 12 yes votes on a 13 person team = vote fail
Overall, however, I think the FF has improved the aspects of the game such as fire. Also vote kick is great for when there isnt an admin if you can literally get every person on your team to vote kick the afk.

1) Thx, a modified AZTEC you will LOVE is "coming soon"
2) I agree, I'm working on a plugin now, but it is still glitchy with CSGO, and it is not working with SourceBans properly yet.
3) The voting in the game is badly broken, but Sirex is working on that. I wish the voting would work properly as well. It seems like if you get one no vote, the vote will fail.

New players to the server will not complain, because when they see "Competitive" in the server title, this is what they expect to see:

LOVE the se maps, especially Nuke and Inferno.
I'm indifferent on the FF. I liked it a lot in CSS because it forces players to be more careful. Obviously accidents will still happen and/or you will have the occasional ass-hat. Whether it stays or goes does not make much of a difference to me; I will still be playing on cains lair.

FF is good, no complaints about that. but the death after a TK should be modified
many times it might not be our fault, with a 32man server maps can get crowded here and there
i think there should be the penalty added to a TK, where the victim gets to choose to slay, kill next round, or forgive
i think that makes the whole "some douche ran in front of me, now i gotta die next round" more fair

I like FF on. IN Cs 1.6 I always played with it on and I think it changes strategy. I.E. you can't run through fire that a friendly threw.
I like the SE maps, I'm not sure what the difference is, but I like them. I know on Nuke there is a "secret" tunnel that goes down to B, but that is the only major difference I've noticed.
As far as the voting goes, when I'm on the server it works well, but then again I usually just ignore people purposefully TK'ing. I do think that there should be a forgive option for those snipers that are aiming down the scope and someone jumps in front of them at the worst possible time. This happens to me some, and I would like for the person to have the option to forgive. I know some players won't, but some will.
1 thing I'm very glad about is the fact that you have to buy kevlar, helmet, defusal kit... I can't tell you how many times I've joined a server that says it's competitive and find out that I spawn with armor and FF is off.

Be definition a Competitive server is supposed to have:
Friendly Fire = On
Team Collision = On
Have to purchase armor
Have to purchase a Kit
Best out of 30 Rounds
