We now have the best working "vote-kick" of any server, anywhere....

Features:
Works with the built in vote-kick
Shows tally of voting in progress
Logs and tracks all kicks via SourceBans
Gives me a lot of flexibility for settings

The in-game vote-kick is badly broken and most of you know.

Sirex put a LOT of time and thought into this, and he finally figured out how to make it work....

All welcome, I know how annoying that 14vs1 vote was.

Few things, its built ontop of the games default vote menu.
So colors, size, options etc I cant alter.
F1 and F2 (by default in your config) is bound to vote,
sorry cos I 'abuse' the ingame vote system i cant affect it.

I've not really built another voting system, but in a way sorted the games own one...
with a few neat options for Cain!

by doing so I get rid of the issue with press 1 2 3 4
and weird player select screens...
plus everyone knows where the call vote menu is in game...
not everyone knows to try
!vote !kickvote /callvote etc etc

Thanks, this is great and will keep players happy as AFK's are a constant problem.

Just remember all people sometimes go afk for a min. .... don't throw stones if you live in this glass house.

I found people trying to kick someone while the last round they were afk while using the bathroom.

The way you did this was elegant....

The problem with SourceMod vote kicks are #1) You have to know how to call the vote, and #2) Everybody has to type "votekick" then all select the same guy. I'm noticing the average CS/CSS/GO player is pretty computer-illiterate, and votes like that are too complex. I had a hard time in the the test server getting the guys to do it, and I was telling them on Voice what to do!!

The way you have it built to integrate with the existing game menu is terrific...

The only complain I heard was their vote menu/vote count thingy was messed up for some.

The great news is guys already know how to use this, and this morning they already booted two AFKs, one had the bomb.

I have NEVER gone AFK in a full server more than 30 seconds, usually to answer a stem message....

Going AFK to go to the bathroom, etc. is bad form in a full server, just disconnect and rejoin later.

I'm going to add an AFK kicker that will probably kick at 2 minutes maybe less.

Just kind of echoing what he said a bit--but if your arrogant enough (that may be too strong a word) to believe that you can go for a bathroom break for more than a minute and a half or two you should be auto-kicked. It's pretty frustrating watching 31 other guys may have to wait around for the clueless guy on the other team not understanding the constant FF on dings on his screen.

How long does it take you to pee? It takes me 30 seconds from getting up, doing my business, and then coming back. Don't tell me you sit on the toilet seat and wash your hands in your own house? You freak...

Just had one earlier today and he had the bomb so I kicked, he re-joined a few minutes later. I usually try to send a message like "sorry but you were afk with bomb". Most people know that is proably what they were kicked for anyway.

Agree... It is worse at night when it is so hard to get into the server. I'll probably set the AFK kicker plugin to get aggressive when we have 28-30 players.

I was just on nuke and they were voting like mad, but it is usually for the same guy or two
