Here is a good argument for SE maps VS. standard:
    http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...php?p=33511625

it comes down to the fog being a crutch for newer players as it aids in distinguishing player models at a distance.
It works this way in L4D and is very helpful because most of the maps are dark.
Most cs:go maps are very brights so instead of helping you see them it's more blinding than anything.

Most competitive players don't usually need the crutch, and see it as a hindrance.

SE maps also remove some props from the game like chickens on inferno.

Edit: I like the map, cache, but the textures make it feel like another nuke. i'll give it a try with bots, possibly.

There was never any real point in so many chickens on inferno, just distracting

I dont care either way, but I feel less "fog" makes it easier for snipers. The problem with GO is less contrast with the environment than the previous games.
