The more you all keep a note of when it happens to more I can narrow it down.

atm I have about 6 possible places i need to check for locking up the vote or displaying incorrectly...

This is not 6 mistakes, this is area where it maybe.

It will possibly only be one of those locations and the more you all keep a tab on it and post what you all see etc the closer I get.

The admins have the home advantage as they get extra info on screen, mainly for that reason.

Yes, I agree sirex.. And I'm beginning to have a couple ideas as to what it is.. My first guess is that it was possible glitching while trying to talk to Sourcebans and keep record possibly.. But that would only be if infact the two applications were actually talking to one another.

Second, it's dawned on me that possibly Valve needs to fix something on their end. As the picture shows and as I've described. The words are overlapping.. You see? Also, this vote that claims that Fooler voted F2 for yes.. Where he couldn't of because other team can't vote when it's the other teams vote.. Right?

So with that being said.. It could be a glitch there.. I don't think we should be able to see the vote at all if the other team is voting.. I mean, it does none of us any good on our team.. Since we can't vote on it anyways.. Right again? lol

possible it is, i'm isolating it down to server-client messages atm.
I have a clue, but there is about 4 places where the server interacts with the client.

Does the overlapping only occour when you cant vote? out of curiosity.
and yes they need to sort stuff out, a lot of things involving UI.

One issue I have atm is locating how to update the counts on the side of the panel.
I've spent hours trawing thru pages and running things on test servers to work it out but to no avail.

And yes the opposite side should not see the message at all.

Its possible what fooler seen (the admin message there) is displaying cos the other team has an active vote.

I saw the server message several times and people were not able make a vote once I saw that. (I didn't know that was an admin message )

I didn't vote thats how it came up several rounds before for the other team.

Is it possible that the vote kick has a couple of variables that you can change to 0? Instead of 1? Like via the competitive cfg? I'm thinking it may be something as simple as pie.. And then again.. It could be a bit more enhanced.. I haven't checked it myself.. But it's just a quick thought as of now.. Perhaps if it's like votekick all see "0" sort of thing.. you know what i mean?

And yeah, we all see the votes.. Whether it's our team doing it, or their team doing it.. Only thing is, we can't vote when the opposite team is doing the vote and pointless to see which i believe is causing the glitch..

It would be great if the box only came up when YOUR team is voting.
