    Mouse Settings

So i got a new mouse for Xmas,Razer DeathAdder, but I'm getting mouse lag in cs:go. The default settings is 1800dpi with 500 poll rate. I previously had the razor salmosa mice with same settings and it played fine with csgo, but with deathadder is lagging ingame and only in go, tried 2 other games and no mice lag. Anyone with a razer mouse want to share their settings or could help me.

I lower the dpi to 1000 but the movement still feels awkward.

I've heard some players have had better luck using the legacy razer drivers instead of the newer synapse 2.0 ones. I'd fool around w/ the driver/firmware stuff and see if any of that helps. DeathAdder's one of the best mice out there, so hopefully you get it running reliably.

I have the same mouse, however, you may have the "new" deathadder. I got mine after my mx518 finally died after like 6 years of HEAVY usage. Here is a pic of my settings that I use. I experience no input lag in CS:GO.

EDIT: I tried playing CS:GO with your mouse settings of Polling:500 and 1800DPI. I didn't experience any lag :\ (even got a knife kill on mirage!). Could you also post your in-game settings? It might be something in there acting funky.

          I have the black edition.
Using legacy drivers 1.02. Polling rate is 1000Hz, DPI is 3500. Sens is set to 5.5; windows on 4. In-game is set to 0.4.

          m_rawinput is set to 1.

          No issues.

Try turning off mouse acceleration? I'm using a black deathadder as well. The mouse is legendary.

Specifically with regard to settings, AFAIK pro players use a relatively low DPI (<1000) and sensitivity under 3. Windows 6/11, no accel, raw input ingame.

fizzynose, what setting do you use?

what's the difference between legazy driver and synapse? I'm using synapse.
where on windows do you go about changing the mouse sens? I have XP.

I'm gonna try using x/y at 1000/1800 with 500-1000rate, see how it goes.

                btw: thanks for the replies.

                    your ingame settings look fine.

you can find the legacy driver/firmware for your deathadder, depending on which one you have.

In windows, you can go to control panel and then to mouse and you should see some tabs 'n options for changing up your sens. (namely, turn off enhance pointer precision and make sure windows is set at most to 6/11 notch between slow and fast

Do you have a nvidia card? I've read setting the desktop scaling to display instead of gpu can help.

I use the game default settings which is sens at 6. I decided to reset the razer setting to default as the previous settings i tried wasn't any good either, so went in-game and the lag wasn't there anymore. I checked the windows sens and the enhance pointer was already unchecked at 6/11 so that seen fine. It's not lagging anymore but still feel weird when aiming straight, maybe is the new mouse that i need to get use to. I know deathadder is bigger compare to the salmosa. Well i guess more practicing... all.

                      btw: I have the 3.5G version and i have a gtx460
fizzy, i will try your settings when i get a chance. ty for posting it.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
