! Please read ! Failed forum login attempts

I have been notified by some members about failed login attempts to their forum accounts.

The forum will email you of failed login attempts, if this is not you trying could you please PM me the email which includes an IP address.

Spammers have tried for years to bypass our tight registration screening and always fail.
This is their latest attempt to now bypass it.

Please ensure your email address is uptodate and your password is not guessable.
Thinking "its just a forum account" may come to mind, but keep in mind its your identity on Cains, and any spammer or malicious person will have access not just to here,
but also get hold of your email address and one of your passwords.

If your email is not uptodate we will have trouble validating any contact request if your locked out.

So please update your email address, secure your password and reset information, and let me know in PM any email you get with the IP.

I just got a notification via email. Texted Cain about it (hadn't checked the forums yet today, sorry John!). Ip was 188.143.232.144 coming out of Russia some where.

Edit: Added owner info for that block of ip addresses.

Nice to see you on WT glad you keep up XD

OK everyone seems to be hit by the same IP.
I've taken measures to ensure that IP cant use the servers,
but as before keep me posted of all your failed logins which where not you.

Not only is it protecting us from wasted bandwidth and possible spam.
It helps you too, these guys cant get into your accounts XD
