Crysis Warhead + SecuROM

Sounds very similar to the advertising slip of paper that came with 2142.

edit: Just been reading around. It's official. Crysis Warhead comes with the exact same copy protection ay Spore. Which does mean that the 3 install limit is based on 3 different PC's or 3 different motherboards.

Apparently there is a lot of talk behind the scenes at Crytek and EA to remove this the same as 2k did.

It simply does not make sense to have pages over pages with the exactly same content and posts. It is not about censoring anyone here, but 26+ pages of the same pro's and con's are not going anywhere.

edit: Just been reading around and a EA spokesperson has been interviewed about Spore and the activation removal patch, just like Bioshock, is to be realeased in the near future. Looks like it could be good news for Warhead. Pity it looks like the 'Spore effect' is starting on Amazon again.

I dislike this policy, so I'm not going to buy the game. In Germany you have to dial a non-free hotline once you have made your five installs.

Just checked out Steam and it seems we don't have it in the UK. They are selling Crysis for $49.99 and the Crysis complete pack with Crysis and Warhead on pre-purchase for $79.98 so you can't but Warhead on it's own at the moment and it is pre-release only yet!

I just have to say that even with SecuROM and such, the game is good. It downright rocks.
