Disable Gamespy Comrade

I found this.

For those who purchased Crysis Wars via Steam will be having an annoying Gamespy Comrade installer pop up every time we launch the game. I have a simple remedy.

Go to "Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\crysis wars\installers"

Create a new folder and name it "Disable Comrade"

Now drag the folder named "Gamespy Comrade" into "Disable Comrade"

Your done, now the next time you launch Crysis Wars that dumb thing won't pop up.

I am weary of deleting game files because it can be problematic when a new patch comes out.

I did this same thing with the intro videos.
Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\crysis wars\Game\Localized\Video\disable videos

Thanks Apache. While i don't ever get the Comrade popup the intro videos are starting to annoy me.

On the videos I moved them out of the following files out of the video directory.

Intro.sfd
Trailer_DemoLegal.sfd
Trailer_EA.sfd
Trailer_Trailer_Intel
Trailer_NVidia.sfd

When I tried to move the Trailer_Crytek.sfd and CrytekC.sfd something copied them back in with the Intel one. So I don't recommend moving them since mine has been working fine with the ones above moved.

Remember when the put out a patch you have to move the vids again. I noticed this on the last patch they did.

I have remove it
