More Maps In Rotation Please

I'd personally like to see 1 or 2 more maps in the rotation. I like the ones that are in rotation now, but I think a little more variety would be nice.

I'd personally like to the one of the C4 objective maps be put into the rotation. I understand that the ones that are currently in rotation help fill the server, so maybe a manual map rotation when the server is full would be good by an admin.

Just a thought.

The problem with maps is most folks play only a limited number and hop from server to server to play their favorite maps.

When I play too many maps and the players numbers drop most folks also leave our server to play on another one that is more populated.

Last night is a fine example, we went from 30 players to 6 when jagd came up, than those 6 left shortly after that.

I'll try Colmar tonight, but it is hit or miss, so let's see how it goes.

i also believe that the reason everybody left for jagd was b/c it was starting to get late and the server always starts emptying out at that time. i agree that the map didn't help, but if you look at the stats and compare them... the server usually does start to drop off at that point. i would really like to see maps like railroad or strand (the beach map). maybe if we could have a "custom, vanilla, custom, vanilla," rotation it would keep peeps in the server. If we are going to do some customs i think we should pick the well known customs, b/c if its just some weird map then nobody is gonna join at all. But i am very much in favor of a diff variety of maps.

I like custom maps, we used RR (one of my all-time favs) and Lennon I think...

Strand is HUGE and takes forever to download.... And last time I looked it was glitchy and buggy but perhaps they have improved it since August. I'll check.

I had lots of fun tonight. The blood mod is neat...just wish it looked better than hemmoraging red lego blocks, but that is better than the pink ones earlier in the night Map vote looks like it'll help retain people better than a standard map rotation which is awesome.

I think the blood is really cool I also love the new mapvote feature. I hope it attracts people.
