troubles with new maps

i have no problems with the old maps, but with some of the new maps when i try to log on, it loads forever and eventually says either the server stopped responding or map could not be found. any ideas about what i could do?

hmm, does it show that it downloading the map on the screen when connecting to the server but then it freeze it?. im not sure what to tell you tho.

you can try deleting the new maps from your steam maps folder and letting them download again.

The maps are:

Lenin

Harrington

Rails B2

[Cain]

Make sure that:

1) You allow downloads
2) Are patient - some maps can take upwards of 5 minutes to be downloaded

I'll put links to some of the maps so you can manually download them if you still have problems.

Manually installing them is faster than downloading them from the server.

Delete any copies of these maps, you all ready have installed, before you install these.

Thanks for the link Apache. I'm not having problems but i like to have them already installed before the map comes up in the rotation and i think i need Harrington.
