I think the best map for the rocket launcher is Avalanche. There are a lot of buildings to get on top of and reign death from above!

Ruthless and I often have "rocket wars" on that map; lots of fun!

no, i used too they GIMPED it in this new patch..
its SPLASH Radius sucks now and the Damage is GIMPED too..

no not even avalanche, it used to be in 1.3 DOD.. now that was EPIC SPLASH.. just shoot the ceiling of the lower floor and whom ever is upstairs dies.. lol.

in DOD:S wit the TF2 engine, the rockets is not EPIC anymore.
its takes about 2-3 rockets to kill someone if they are near a wall..
of course 1 rocket to the face = 1 Hit Kill..
but its dodge-able.

im still a CLR but just a server i played until THIS MARVELOUS news came today..
