I was playing on a FF on server a few weeks ago and I had a great time. Adds a whole new dimension to how you play, from spamming of nades to spraying of MGs. You had to be very careful.
Not sure how the DOD:S fans are slotted...FF or non FF and if a change would impact the current player base.
I do see a good number of people coming on and checking if FF is on, so they wouldn't be caught by surprise.
Having FF on brings up some new problems though... team kills, team punish and active admins.
I think we have enough active admins playing to help police a FF server.
The server I played on did not have any punishing for TKs. They relied on the players playing to complain about intentional stuff going on. You can tell when someone was killed by a dead nade vs team killed for no reason.

I like FF on but, most Pubs do not use it. The match Tuesday will require FF on.

Where do you put the Bayonet?

I like it on, it adds a whole new mindset to the game. It takes away the "run and gun" aspect and turns it into more of a teamwork style of game-play, which in my opinion is far more fun then just running around the map and trying to kill as many people as possible.
Some CS:S servers with FF on had a mod that allowed you to do various things back to your opponent which was kinda fun.
- slap them down to 1 health
- insta slay them start of next round
- put a beacon on them
- freeze them
- burn them and make them really slow
- steal money from them
- forgive

I like it on myself. Helps weed out the mindless shooting and nadeing. Notice I said nade and not nad Cain

I've got to say, it was really funny when the first thing I hear after joining up tonight is Jeffro yelling "NONONO Rand don't go in there!" right before his nade went off.
I've been Alpha and will be Beta testing the Delta Force game. It's been really getting good reviews! Definitely a good Battlefield feel to it like the...
