I did not like quake 4 I thought it was crap. -
If you want to play the SP game maybe, but the MP part of the game is next to dead, so I wouldn't bother.
I believe Premonition and a few others were die-hard Q4 players at one point, they might be able to weigh in on this too.
ET:QW still makes me sad sometimes thinking about what it could have been, if only it wasn't married to an antiquated engine
