Would like a heads up on WAW and how many think it would be worth it? The ss on the back of the box just don't look appealing.

So your input might help me make a little easier for me.

I personallly love it Todd. The multyplayer is really fun and the nazi zombies is about as much fun as l4d if not better. There are alot of really fun maps for the multyplayer and almost everyday there is a new map for zombies that is released. The guns are very cool bolt rifles, semi auto rifles, big mgs, bolts that when u complete the challenges for them u get a sniper scope, and many other cool guns. There is also coop that you can do with friends from ur friends list that u can invite them to a game of zombies (thats what i do) or u can do levels from campaign.
I definitly think that it is worth the money and you and pg should think about buying it.

to be honest i hate it. this game is not meant to be playable with 50people in most maps and with the stupid random spawning even more terrible.. only way u can enjoy it is when is around 20max people playing, anymore than that its just chaos and headache. the zombie mode its a lot of fun. i like as much as l4d. havent play the SP so cant say much about it.

This is the only first person shooter I have ever regretted buying. The spawns are pathetic, using any weapon but an smg is a death sentence, and the dogs are so ridiculously powerful in hardcore that it isn't even worth trying when the enemy team calls them in. Ruthless is correct, a game larger than 20 people just gives me a headache. I have also noticed that there are mores jerks and cheaters compared to COD4. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone, unless they want to play a COD3 remake that is somehow worse.

Ok enough negative. Todd the game is a great game. Yeah It's not COD4 but in my opinion it's better. There is a lot of changes that make it a different game and the game play is great, online or solo.
You will hear different sides to the dogs and air raids but they both are kewl. The dogs adds something different that is pretty kewl and the air raids are just awesome to watch, as long as you are out of the way. The whole blood and guts of the game adds a different aspect to the game and I believe they have improved on the physics engine unless I'm just imagining it. You have much better luck with ducking behind something to avoid a nade as far as I can tell.
I definitely enjoy the game and would buy all over again if I had to.

We're getting more and more people on the server each day. There was a few times yesterday where I couldnt log in.

That doesnt mean you will enjoy it, I'm not going to sugar coat it. I think people are kidding themselves if they say they werent hoping for CoD4 with different maps, same size, same nade spam and etc.

Personally, I like this game because there are just too many ways to play it and still keep up with the better players (without nade spam).

1. The larger map allows for a more even balance against snipers.
2. Run and Gun is still possible, but there are real choke points on most maps.
Bouncing betty's are the nearest thing to nade spam, HOWEVER, with the absence of tanks and etc, the perk slot is usually default Bomb Squad to avoid that.
3. The maps we run are pretty fun when you squad up. Two nights ago on cliffside, Rand, Ceravis, and I were with about 5 other randoms and we were rolling around the map as a team ( we still lost -- but very fun)

Play or not, it's the game of choice right now at Cains Lair and as I keep saying, the emphasis in the top left corner of the forums remains:

Hey Todd...I'll be honest with you here. As much as I love shooting you and all b/c we have a blast playing together. You *COULD* pass on this one. I play alot only b/c I like playing with my fellow CLR's. I only really have fun when I play with them. Otherwards, I play a few rounds and then cut out and play another game.
