Where do you put the Bayonet?

I am all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Lets start with typewriters.

Guys, in general, the sad thing is we're all going to have to live with Games for Windows. Because for whatever reason, it's got the muscle to back stuff up. I was just reading about this in PC Gamer last night (finally showed up). Apparently, GTA 4's multiplayer is 100% dependent on GfWL.
When you have AAA titles that are exclusive on their downloads and multiplayer on this thing, that means many more are going to follow. It may become a battle between MS and Steam, and MS has more muscle to give out benefits to the developers.
Which sucks.
Anyway, to my knowledge, NO update for Fallout 3 will be released in any means other than Games for Windows, until at least a Game of the Year edition comes out.

If that is true, then that means that my steam copy is useless as you cannot update a Steam game with non-steam patches. Very few steam games allow additional content from Non-Steam resources....
It will be a wait and see- where I am saying wait "@#%, EA just got into this mix and they are going to be the muscle that may push back Microsoft for Steam.
Alright Duke. Took a bit more than 2 hours, and I'm totally finished.
It's a fairly good quest, really linear--the only choice is which of two objectives to tackle first. No side quests, and while the description mentions new perks, I didn't find any. They may only be available if you level while playing it.
Loot is severely lacking while in the simulation, and they have some weird thing that basically highlights what you can use. There is "intel" to be found, 10 of them, but I only found 8. I'll google it up to see what that may do. Perhaps that is the perk. If it is, maybe I'll go back to my most recent save in the sim and backtrack to find the others.
The scenery is an ice change of pace from all the brown of the apocalypse. There are a few interesting sights and goodies. There's something almost too fun about sneaking around with the trench knife, and the gauss rifle is all kinds of cool. Chinese Dragoons are hands down the coolest enemy in the game outside of maybe Super Mutant Behemoths.
I look on this as a bit of prep until next month's DLC, which is supposed to remove or raise the level cap and add new perks and stuff.
The ending is pretty nice. Make sure to stay close by the leader guy. And the reward? Well, it took me three trips to get it all back to my house, and some of it is VERY good.
1,000 points for Games for Windows is about 12 bucks, and this thing cost 800 points. I found it worthwhile, but mainly because I can see how it could provide a good advantage for the more major pack.
Here's some screen shots. Note particularly the "before" and "after" shots of my character while I was lugging loot and storing heavy armor in my locker.
Chinese Stealth Suit=pwn.

P.S. Great Googly Moogly! Google reveals the intel does give you a perk. For those who want surprise, I won't disclose it, but it's very good.
