Hahaaa, too bad they didn't do to L4D what they did for TF2.

L4D is buggy as hell and not as nearly supported as TF2. I will not be buying L4D 2, and I'm sure the majority share that sentiment.

Actually- no, we dont support the sentiment. L4D hasnt been buggy for me, with the exception of the reliance on a node based server finding system that takes the net average of all pings, and then attempts to locate a server that would be reasonable for all players.

The problem with the node system is that it often fails when your group has selected a server at the same time as another group, or when there is exceptionally busy periods of time in your area.

Anyways, the game has been fantastic, and the last few updates were fun and important to the game. I dont believe that any company that wants to remain profitable should let their customers set the price on their software as "always free after the first one". It has never been the case in any successful software model, and with the exceptions of functionality patches, the tradition is that ALL new content will cost you money.

Boycott all you want, the people who will appreciate the game and not be farking jackholes will be there right there alongside Jeffro and I screaming "oh my gawd! Im so scared! The Zombie craves da brains"

They sold L4D as full priced title in Germany which the game is not. So I can quite understand the fanbase.

The movies of L4D2 are boring. New maps with changed skin packs.

They could have called it L4D 2009 and make a yearly EA series out of it.

Not sure if I to get this one.... frankly, I have better titles to spend my money on.

I don't see what there is to be POed about. The trailers seemed a bit underwhelming and it may just be a few more maps and skins but it's still early to get your panties in a bunch. Valve has done fine by me so far and the episodes that cam out in the HL2 series were worth the reduce price that I paid for them and there was just enough new content to keep it fresh and to leave me wanting the next episode. I'm all for voting with my $ but I will wait and see some more about L4D 2 before I jump on the boycott bandwagon. For now, I am loving L4D.

I'm on the fence with this one. I doubt I will buy it right away, and probably will not buy it at all.

The majority of people on my L4D friends list are not buying it and the vibe that I get in game with pugs is that alot of people won't be buying it.

Are they just the ones to speak up and those buying it aren't saying a word? Could be. But from my little corner of the online world, the majority is not getting L4D 2 as it is today

I have a feeling there will be farking jackholes in L4D as much as there are in any other game.

The whole rage phenomenon is something that really turns me off of L4D at times. I'm one of the few who stick it out regardless. And with only 4 players per side in vs, one leaving makes a big difference.

They should design a 32 player L4D map, 16 humans and 16 zombies. That would be fun

The community is POed because Valve didn't follow through with what they promised us. IMO, it's unacceptable.

They was only one Problem with L4D the game is to short, this is why I have just cancelled my Pre order of L4D 2
