I'm part of the boycott group, but I can't deny that l4d2 does look way better. I'd be happy if valve took the gameplay changes from l4d2 and added them to 1, like the new infected, melee weapons and special ammo. That way it's the same game in new settings, so the new l4d releases are more like expansions, and not new games.
