Yea I have been waiting the release of this as well...looks very promising. It qualifies more as an Army SIM then the standard run and gun FPS.

Whats wrong with ArmA?
Dragon Rising looks wonderful. This is the type of game I like, realism. I loved Project Reality for BF2, how realistic the weapons were.
I will probably get it for the 360.

I might buy this, need to do some research on it though. looks like a good teamwork game with the coop campaign.

Edit: Just got it on steam...reviews look promising but according to forums there are some issues. I am taking the chance

Just got done with a round of mp and a few minutes of the campaign.

Can't say too much about mp because there were only 4 games and the one I played I was lost. I was shooting at somebody and hit them with a couple full clips and they didn't die. Could have been teammate, idk but I know I was getting killed pretty quickly.This happened in campaign also, except it was I couldn't kill anyone because none of my hits were registering (game has the cod4 like bloom when you hit someone).

Game is pretty new so I am going to wait for more people to get it so I can get more of a view of mp. Seems as though sp is def in need of a patch though.

right now I would give this game two thumbs sideways

Ok, after an extended time playing I am going to change my tune a bit. Idk what was wrong before but I was able to hit people pretty good. Maybe that server was weird. The game does have bullet drop so it is a chore to hit people at long range.

I can see that Infiltration will be the mode of choice. Basically the american forces are set about a half mile to a mile away from a point and they have to destroy an objective that is protected by a larger group of chinese forces. I played a few rounds and it got a bit tense. Especially that point when the first shooting starts. Its like Arma meets bf.

There is one problem though. I have random slowdown at times. My game goes from smooth to like 4fps. Only happens every 20 minutes or so but it does happen.

This def is the kind of game that you want to play with friends as communication is vital.

Good note is that it isn't too hard on graphics cards either. My aging 8800gt is able to run 1680x1050 2xaa everything on high smooth.
