Who's buying L4D2?

Got in a game with Jeffro and got my @ss handed to me. In no time at all the entire team was down leaving me by the spawn. I then got verbally assaulted from a team member for not coming to their rescue on the spot.
Keep in mind this was the second time I had ever played the game .. I didn't even have my bindings set up properly, so it soured me on the game in one sitting. I've gone back to playing offline mode what with these ignorant internet trolls who call you every name in the book for ruining their game.

Same old L4D for me. No wonder I never bothered to buy L4D2 when it came out !!

I've gone back to TF2 where I can actually play well without getting a verbal tongue lashing from the rampaging 15 year olds.

You need to play with some friendly people, with the addition of things like adrenaline and shock paddles along with the new weapons the game has been worth it in my book. We should hop in a game some time.

I've owned it for a while. It was pretty fun. Although WT there are asshats in any game don't let one bad experience put you off team play.

plus if we all played with CLRs im guess our experience would be great imo, I dont play many games anymore unless they have or going to have CLRs online playing it with me

I played with B last night. Did well except for the fact that the rest of the team was speaking Portuguese! A good group makes all the difference really. I should be on tonight, drop me a line and we can play.

I find that if at the start you just say 'hey, just got this don't know the way' people will cut you a break. Tends to shut em up a bit.

Bacon, I play on 2Fort only servers ... ya, I know .. its bizarre, and I have no logical explanation for why I find it so addicting, but I will give any CLRs a hand on any TF2 server ... I need to uber some friends to get achievements anyhow


I frequent one server in particular due to its oddball mix of low grav (Scouts can double jump up the front grate to get to intel) and a party mod that replaces blood with wrapped gifts, springs, beach balls, gears, balloons, etc. You also get a tiny party hat on top of your regular hat !

Anyhoo, back to L4D2 ... I'll try it again, but nothing frustrates me more than telling every teammate that I am new to the game, only to be insulted over open mic by somebody. Rant over

WT I play a bit later in the evenings so if you are around we can play a nice round L4D2 I will keep an eye out.

I have L4D and L4D2 and also killing floor, which is a LOT of fun and you can play I think up to 8 people
