Loved Diablo II ?? Try Torchlight !!

Just downloaded the smallish 870mb demo today. In 2 hours I had finished the demo (it ends on the 5th dungeon) and bought the full game for $10 on Steam.

Best part is, the demo IS the full game. When you buy and unlock it, you can pick up where you stop on the demo. Its called the best Diablo II clone since .. well .. Diablo II, so if you burned up hours on that, then you will love this one !! Currently around 84% favorable on several review sites.

yeah, I love it, have been playing it a lot. All my friends here also have been playing it a lot. VERY good. The interesting thing is that it's not a game they want to launch, they did it to get money to make an online game like that XDDDD

I downloaded this the other day ans I like it. It's a fun little game that will kill time when I have a lousy connection.

I just bought the full version last night (along with Ghostbusters, World in Conflict Complete, Silent Hunter 3, Evil Genius, and Medieval 2 Total War, all for $38--I love Steam), and it looks like it'll be a great little diversion for some time.

Now I just have to make sure I leave myself enough time to play Mass Effect through before Mass Effect 2 comes out, and get through some of the others before Bioshock 2.

I got the $5 deal too. Haven't played yet though. I'm OD'ing on new games! Still have to finish Dragonage, and now I have Borderlands, Torchlight, and just bought the Star Wars pack that was $25. These deals are too good to pass up. My wallet hates me though.

anyone tryed out the torchlight editor you get with it through steam yet?

i tryed too have a look but i must have got a bad file or something cos it crashes the moment it opens .

nevermind just looked it up and its a common thing the steam version doesnt work right yet just like the steam console doesnt show on the game (found this one out cos i got a character stuck in a dungeon lol)

after 2 days of being stuck in a dungeon behind some crates Kriotek the destroyer finally found the strength and broke through his wooden prison and found his way back too town.
got the console working it was a different key combo from normal (shift+@) instead of the normal ones.
for future reference if you get stuck and cant open a town portal open the console and type ascend into it.
