C&C: Tiberian Sun + Firestorm (free to download)

    Hey guys!

Thought, some of you might be interested...

"THE BATTLE FOR THE FUTURE HAS BEGUN!
Set in the early 21st century, Tiberian Sun once again pits the Global Defense Initiative against the Brotherhood of Nod in a struggle for control of the planet. With an epic storyline that unfolds as play progresses, players learn the reasons behind the worldwide outbreak of Tiberium and what happened to the notorious Nod leader Kane, who was presumed dead at the end of the first Command & Conquer.
KANE IS DEAD. A NEW ENEMY HAS EMERGED.

It's time to head up the Firestorm task force. Nod's experiments have unknowingly released a horde of cybernetic nightmares upon the world. As GDI and Nod scramble to save themselves, they realize their only salvation lies in the unthinkable."

Thanks, Grisu! I've been waiting for this one to come out (along with a few others that are coming soon). I might download the demo, only because I love the C&Cs (I normally don't mess with demos), but I'm sure I'll buy the game as well.

The whole Tiberian series never interested me. I do have all of them. Renegade was epic but that's about it. Cutscenes sadly do not make a game and that's the case with the last Tiberium wars.

Think I'm skipping the newest one and wait for RA4 (I hope it's less sucky than RA3).

Ahm, this is the game from around 1999!

It has nothing to do with the newest title that is currently in beta phase.

Just to avoid further confusion here...

Well they released it for free download to promote the newest one. No confusion here.

It seems Skud was so excited about the game he forgot what it was called... which is Command and Conquer 4.

Yeah, BOOO! It was a little early this morning. Looks like March (16th for C&C 4) will be a good month for games, though!

Thanks for the heads-up; I used to play a lot of C&C and Red Alert way back when IPX networks were the happening thing.

Wasn't any good then, probably not any good now.

I wonder if I can run this on my netbook? Seems like I have 15 hours of sitting in a plane and need to fill up that time...
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

A netbook is fast enough to play this game.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
