The game feels like better MW2 with dedicated servers. there is also no Destruction 2.0 which is huge FAIL for me. Its 2010 and if you cant destroy a little fence made from clay with a rocket launcher is kind a lame, and that coming from developers of BF2BC.....

I admit that BFBC2 has spoiled me to destructible environment. I don't think I can play another game where you can't destroy almost everything.

This was fun, and armor-less. We obliterated that village in Valpariso down to the smallest little box.

Lol, I've messed around like that with Warhead and ObiTroy before. I found out that even 5 C4s won't blow out a window in that lighthouse.

Pretty disappointed. I was hoping MoH would be my next game. Since completing all of the BFBC2 SP I need a new game for SP mode.

Single player mode is easy--if you like RPGs, it's the Fallout series and New Vegas comes out in October or so. If you like intelligent shooters, Deus Ex 3 all the way.

It's the multiplayer shooter that gets difficult, because there aren't any out now or on the way that are really exciting in any way. I'm getting tired of BC2, and the lack of VOIP is really just destroying any reason to stick with it after getting all the awards because it's just enormously frustrating to play a "team" game where teamplay is nearly impossible.

Although its a different genre Torchlight killed off a lot of time for me during those crappy connection layovers.

FYI - if you got BFBC2 via steam you can get the MoH beta free.

Graphics are okay at best.
Hitboxes need work.
Maybe the weapons improve as you go along.
Ragdoll effects are not as good as DOD:S.
Grenades go off to fast. (sometimes mid flight)

Forgot to check if there was any VOIP.

I noticed the thing in my "to download" area yesterday, but then saw it was multiplayer only. Bah, that, I don't want. So I'm not going to install it.

so far my only complaint (other than those above) is that once u get the PKM and M249 the game is effectively over.

I got 2 cruise missiles in 2 matches using the LMGs. put a red dot and hollowpoint ammo on them and you become a one man army.

I've gotta say, I think the game is a great improvement over MW2 from what little I've played it. I like the mixed up objective types on Helmand, and I like that it takes more than two bullets (most of the time, punkbuster appears to be disabled in the beta) like in MW2, but less than a whole clip like BC2 to kill someone.
That being said, it crashes constantly, the explosion graphics are messed up, the kill streaks are friggin' nasty (more realistic that way I suppose... nobody is supposed to survive a cruise-missile), and the hitbox lag is approximating TF2 levels of absurdity.
Overall, that this is an improvement on MW2 really speaks to how much I dislike MW2.

so, looks like I'm stickin with Heavy-Medic mass destruction until Crysis 2.

Well for the most part. BFBC2 will have everyong spoiled on the destructive environment. If no one ever matches that then, it will go down as the best player experience as far as I'm concerned.

MOH is just different. I didnt care for it that much. None of the gadgets seemed effective. Nades didnt travel but a few feet it seemed and dropped like dyin quail. I couldnt get into it much. Wont spend any money on it at this point.
