Starcraft wasn't an RPG, but rather a RTS. Different acronym starting with "R."

Most of the trailers appear to be the cutscenes from the game. They're done that way because most casual people they're trying to attract to it are going to be bored out of their minds watching 30 seconds of clicking on units and resource gathering on TV.
