well I got a chance to play the beta.... What is the deal with video game developers pushing ingame money to buy stuff, Graphics were on the grainy side couldnt even get a screen capture from fraps or screen print. Playing in a window brower works ok, Good luck with full screen, lag, and a few times I thought my game locked up. No prone
I guess BF3 will not have prone.

thats what I did. Been playing this since I played this Battlefield Play4Free version of the game. Steam had BF2 complete pack for 5 bucks and some change. I bought it for back up "but" steam version bites. It dont work right of the bat for multiplayer. MP say I have invalid key then had to do one of many fixes

I have 2 retail versions of the game. The original 2 CD version and the DVD collection. I gave the DVD collection to my relative cause he couldnt get his Steam version to work either cause of the "invalid key". I just bought 2 BF2 DVD's collections set on Ebay for my backup collection. My original Disk 1 CD has seen better days. (Mine you this was before the 1.50 patch where you had to have the disk in the drive)
Oh and when I update PunkBuster, I get a boot saying something about program driver. Arrr Steam in-game overlay
Had to disable that.

I tried installing it sometime back, but I think I had trouble installing the patch on Win7...
