Its a indie enless roaming Java game thats apperently making a hit across the web. I'm playing it and I'm still somewhat confused as to what I'm suppose to do. I'm building my home but I got attack by a spider? Havent try multiplayer yet.

i read about this on kotaku i think, how i guy build like a spaceship type from star trek with huge wall and how he spend hrs doing that blah blah dont remember much but yea it looks insane. haven't try it thoe.

I ignore it up untill today reading some comments on facebook and on the [H] forums have 105 pages Minecraft - [H]ard|Forum and curiosity got the best of me as to why a gameing pc topic have so many pages.

I made an awesome castle with a really cool dungeon once. Helped another player build an underground nightclub, a gigantic pirate ship(beautiful), and OMG....
that first screenshot is nuts...
I recommend playing this game and just going around seeing other peoples art.

Oh so this is one of those games that I can build something really cool and sell it If so Bugatti Veyron here I come (heehee wishful thinking)

Is there a way to keep the daylight on? It seems when it gets night, Zombies comes out to play and I cant kill em.

You can change the difficulty and zombies won't come out.

But yeah, this is an absolutely fantastic game. You can get lost in it for hours.

hmm... My difficulty is set to Easy and they still come out lol
I did a google search this morning on minecraft daytime and found some info but I think I have to re-enter the command everytime I start up the game. /lamo

Right now I just built me a 2 story home and everytime it turns night, I have to block my door. Dont have enough trees so my home is built out of dirt lol. I would go and venture out to get more dirt and when the sun sets, I head back to home. One of those zombies blew up and destroy part of my house (stupid on my part) and made a water fall. I still havent try the mp yet. How do you make a torch? My home gets really dark. Made some sky lights and window. (still havent figure out to make glass. Need sand and something else?)

Dont need a server for the single player. The Beta is not free, But you will get the full complete game when its done. Its cost €14.95 and paypal currency conversion at the time was $19.80 USD. Now it would be $20.51 USD. When the game is complete, it will sell for €20.00

There is a outdated free version if you want to give it a try, play the Minecraft Classic, it is free. (If you make a account you can save your game)
Minecraft Free Single player

If you want to join a Minecraft Classic multiplayer, Minecraft Free Multiplayer server list you need to make a account (free) and you get the feel of the game with helping others built stuff.

Beta 1.2 is live.

Minecraft Beta 1.2 is live. All servers need to be updated to 1.2.

New features:
* Note blocks (right click to tune, trigger to play)
* 15 wool dyes
* A new water dwelling mob
* New tree types
* Reeds magically turned into sugar canes. They still make paper.
* A bunch of new crafting recipes
* One secret useful block
* One secret pretty block
* Cake
* AND MOAR, probably. I forget!

Bugfixes:
* Paintings work in multiplayer
* Disconnecting while riding no longer keeps the player in the world
* A bunch more state is properly synched in multiplayer
* Fixed colors going weird on PowerPC
* Fixed a horrible chunk reload loop in singleplayer
* Fixed most lighting bugs in newly generated SMP maps
* Falling sand behaves better in SMP
* Fixed a few crash on load level bugs

Let's hope it doesn't bring down the server

Stupid question here. Is there anything to the game besides building stuff? I see the graphics and am not impressed at all. And a game that you just build art or whatnot doesn't seem appealing.

I was the same way and I wanted to try it myself.. You build stuff. Or you can dig mines and find stuff like dimonds and what not. I just dont like the zombies and creapers messing with me.. Other then that, Its a good way to waste your life away like WoW

This clip is longer, and on his quest to shoot a cow, he find more stuff. Even shows his home and how to cook some clay to make brick. (Need to make a furnace first)
