Anyone play Dragon Age II yet?

Alustair has some good attack moves, especially once you open up his specializations, and he got the second best set of gear and all the good shields. If you're worried about health use some runes and health gear on him.

I just didn't like the elf, qunari, or Shale at all. I don't even remember the first two names, and I found Shale to be almost completely useless. For the qunari, two-handed style is too slow. It does some good damage on the hits, but you should see the crazy gap in damage potential between a sorta-maxed dual-wielder and the best two-handed guys. Not even close.

I never finished Awakening so my main only made it to about the mid 20s if I remember right.

DA2 looks great with DX11 and the hi-res textures pack that you can download.
As a game I enjoy playing it and I like the story. Not sure if it fits into the "amazing" category (i've only gotten about 5 hours into it) but if you like a game in the DA:O/NWN/Oblivion style then you'll like DA2 for sure.

I know some people are peeved at the lack of player character choices, but considering all of your character dialog is voiced it would take a lot to have 8 different voice possibilities versus the 2 they have now.

My only knock against it is that I don't get that epic feel, due to the location choices the developers made.

I'm just entering Act 3 now in DA2. If there is one thing that super annoys me is the constant reuses of interiors and adventure areas!

Wish they took a little more time before rolling this out instead of within a year from the 1st.

It's not about the setting, it's about the story. Remember that DA:O had a bunch of towns, but really, once you're in one, what differences are there?

You are talking about DA TWO, right? This thing has only been live since Tuesday. How do you have this many levels invested already?

That's still a lot of time invested. I'm just shy of 20 hours in, did all the possible side quests in Act 1 near as I can tell, and just started Act 2. I'm level 12.

I bought the DLC and I feel let down buy the DLC for the price I think the Dlc should have been free.
