Still beta Minecraft nets devs 33 mil !

Minecraft is an interesting phenomenon. Despite still being in beta, the game has sold more than 1.8 million copies, netting indie developer Mojang over $33 million. And as far as graphics, it looks like a 2004'ish era mess !!!

Ohh, and I forgot the best part ....
NO CONSOLE PORT AND NO DRM !!!!

Yea, hard to believe in this day and age, but I'm sure we will soon see hundreds of knock off titles lacking graphics polish and semi-original gameplay.

A little interesting story about this. Markus made so much money in such little time, paypal froze his account for a few days. lol



Some people even got minecraft to work on Xbox 360 kinnect
