Gnorman the Gnome and Sirex's adventure (HL2ep2) [spoilers]

In order to let Gnorman live his dreams of being an astrognaut we've had to adventure thru the barren lands of HL2.

Here is a photo Diary

Day One:

Gnorman, Alyx and I got attacked while i was opening a door.
If i did not know he was alive, i'd sware he was a statue!



A vort saved us, and all was fine, except for alyx..

she was hurt bad

We knew we had to help her fast, but Gnorman wanted his picture taken with the Vort


Gnorman was kind enough to lead the way


We got stuck in the mines, Gnorman negleted to mention the lift was busted up!

So he aided out escape by assisting with lifts and such.


We took turn at assisting


We talked on other lifts that did all the work


He even protected us from harm as doors where opened


Anyway we have setup for the night and hope tommorow will be more fruitful, Alyx is hurt bad...

that was the best $25 i ever spent! in fact, the only reason i got the orange box was for episode 2!!

*edit* was there more than one gnome in the game?? i only found the one under the bed at the deserted radio station!?

apparently there is only 1, why i'm dragging him thru...

everyone says hes the only one.

good luck w/ the car bits. I've heard that's quite tricky, but there is a way to wedge him in there so he doesn't fall out.

That was A LOT of fun.

That isn't the only alien that you meet up with, but he is the main one.
The others just talk to you, and some help out on a big fight later, but
you don't necessarily interract with them either, not like The Gnorman.

Lots of action, some puzzles, lots of hours of fun.

be my 6-7th time thru ep2, so i kinda know places i can leave Gnorman to pick up later as long as i remember the map switching correctly...

I never found the gnome on my playthrough (and somehow missed like 2 of those stupid grubs), so whenever I play it again I'll be on the lookout.

The gnome is under the bed in the combine outpost alyx first contacts white forest from, just before the door you leave thru.

As for the grubs, i was doing them last night also, but then i realized that punting Gnorman at them was not such a good idea...

As for more than 1, i got no idea if there is more than one gnome, as far as i've seen there is only 1
