Any News on New game releases?

Just wondering if there is anything coming up that would be interesting.
I.E. A hosted Cain's Lair game.

Yes, COD4 is great for those with fast twitch skills, but perhaps there
is something coming that isn't so daunting to us "Slower" players.

I miss my armor cocoon. My slower reflexes cater to armor.
Works better for a slightly older and slower player.

I heard the game spore that's coming out has online play, but it may be just viewing other peoples... whatever

The only major thing I've seen coming up is Frontlines: Fuel of War. Haven't tried out the beta/demo yet, but the reports so far is that its got a long way to go to actually make a real splash in an already crowded FPS market.

As far as slower MP games....not much on the horizon, at least for PC

Left4Dead is coming, which is an interesting take on zombie MP games (but only up to 8 players at a time). It's not going to be slow though, as it will feature 28 Days Later-style fast zombies. It does feature 4 Player Co-op, which is never a bad thing

Mercenaries 2 is coming (supposedly) in April, not sure how interesting the MP will be though.

Other than that, seems like just about everything else is going to be coming out next fall....or later

I think given what's coming out in the next year, COD4 will have a run that's as least as long as what 2142 had. Add the fact that its far FAR cheaper for Cain to run a COD4 server, I think it'll be sticking around for a good long while.

Any game good enough that I'm contemplating picking up the PC version in addition to the 360 version I already have, should have a pretty good lifespan.
