I can't believe you just put Dragon Age 2 in there. Its such an awful game compared to Origins.

      For Ruthlesskilla:
Skyrim is really hard to put down. The game is just...breathtaking. I love the spellcasting in this game. The spells are amazing and dual casting made it even better. Melee weapons are really nice, but the combat system is still kinda the same from Oblivion. Still really awesome. I'm really loving that Im an Argonian Thief (over 40 sneak, 32 lockpick, and 70 pickpocket in less than 7 hours).

Only 2 things really annoy me with this game...

        1. Managing save games... All saves from all characters are in one long list. Really annoying.
I contracted Vampires and had to write now which save game # so I could go back and try it later.

        2. This I just find goofy is after you have a horse, your companion just runs behind you... The should of at least given them a horse once you obtain one.

I'm about lvl 15 now, 20k in gold horded up working on my home in Sanctuary.
Also started a dark elf thief assassin guy... only lvl 4 at this point.

This is a saved game manager. I haven't tried it.

Compared to Origins? Obviously. Origins was one of the 2-3 best games of the last decade. Compared to other RPGs, especially non-Bethesda or Bioware? It's quite good.

I always hated long lists of saved games. I usually delete them after 5. To me its part of the game to completely live with the choices you made. The only saves should be when you go into a dungeon or to keep you from having to run for 10 mins to get somewhere.

That beings said can you type in the save name.. instead of save 1, save 2 ect.

You obviously haven't experienced one of Bethesda quest bugs :-). Trust me, with Bethesda, save and save often.

For those of you on the fence, one of the things this game tracks is a little category called "Bunnies Slaughtered."

That should do it right there.

Yes i have played the last one, but heh I just play on. I want my mistakes to count to the future of the character.

No, i'm not explaining this correctly. You're not the one making mistakes. Bethesda is with the bugs.

You save a lot because of their bugs, not so you can undo history.

It's not that bad, but if you had ever tried to kill slaughter fish in oblivion, you'd understand my paranoia!

Yes and no Ruthless you can go that route if you with bows are a lot like rifles in fallout. The spell system is ridiculously expansive so there are countless play types there. But like fallout there are countless side skills and little quests where you dont even have to kill anything. IMO this is a must get, I got the 360version for free but if I hadnt I would be playing on my laptop for sure(and will be once some dlc comes out and a GOTY edition comes out)

I will definitely pick this up when I see it for sale on Steam. (Or I might ask for it for Christmas )

Oh nice! I never realized it, figuring since it didnt prompt me for a name I thought it wasnt doable. Will have to try that when I get home.

I still havent even completed the 1st Chapter yet.

                              There are chapters?

I'm too busy just walking around and raiding random points on the map and working through the first town's quests. The only faction I've found so far are the Companions.

Someone sent the Dark Brotherhood after me though. I want to figure out who so I can go have a "discussion" with them. Probably the same mill worker who hired three thugs to kill me after I stole some things from her house.

It's cool though--I was unobserved while stealing, but she figured out it was me because I had been talking to her.

I had the same problem with I played the last one. I did so many side searches for fun I killed the wrong people or was so leveled up that the first quests were way to easy in the strings.
