    Skyrim Builds

Well I'm starting this to let you know my awesome build for my second run through.... and so you all can let us know of your awesome builds.

First time through, Conjurer Mage with bound sword and bow to keep me fighting also allowed for maximum capacity. Worked very well, higher level conjurer is way to easy as you conjure some of the most powerful creatures in the elder scrolls and use them as meat puppets. So i decided to do a second run through.

This time I planned out exactly what I wanted to do. Kajiit (the cat) for the unarmed dmg bonus and with one shield for bashing. With heavy armor, smithing, and restoration. Unfortunately this build is mediocre until you get heavy armor level 40. Then you get the perk that adds your def to your damage causing you do deal ridiculous amounts of unarmed damage. Then smithing to get amazing armor, and lastly the restoration is key for getting your heavy armor up, because to level it you need to be taking direct shots.

This is my beastly build what you all have?

I have only played a little bit and considered the bound weapon. Dual wield on somethings and kept losing the weapon without enough magic left. Only level 11 and going after my 2nd dragon now. Can't use the stupid flame voice without another kill.

So went with sword and magic. Conjuring and destruction(flame).
Wearing apprentice robes of destruction and the rest are heavy armor pieces. I will try to enhance some dyridic(sp?) armor to get the apprentice robes magic regen boost.

Most points seem to be going into lockpicking and speech(I hate losing out on things I can't pick or sell).

I went with the imperial for the extra gold.. who cares about calming people down.

Still on my first playthough. I'm about lvl 41 and not even close to the end of the game (I dot alot of side missions and get distracted easily). Magic seems almost as a second thought right now, the only thing i use is restoration (never bothered with conj magic, dont even know how it works).

I started off doing the sneak / destruction with light armor but it just couldn't keep up. Currently I'm using a bow at range (my sneak is like 80 something) and 1h/dragon armor (improved via my smithing) for the rest.

As for talents, pulling this off the top of my head....
      Sneak - 80
      pickpocket - 100
      smithing - 100
      lockpick - 80
      1h - 60 something
heavy armor - 50 something (no points put into it though)
      destruction - 37
Delivering bacon goodness one round at a time.

Also, how easy is this game to come across gold. Not even a challenge anymore, the biggest issue is not having enough vendors to sell to.

thats why you work the speech up and get the perk where you can sell anything to any vendor.

getting soul gems filled took me a while to figure out... didn't notice you had to actually cast it on someone and not in a general area.

while using fire .. trolls are the easiest thing to kill.

This is sort of where I'm at. Level 40/41 on first playthrough, only 1/4th through the game (I'm a completist and will hit every site I can). I'm sort of part badass melee fighter, part mage, part thief. I don't have anything to 100 because I'm not farming or exploiting, and I'm not spending a lot of time just sitting around with non-dwarven metals--I tend to clear a dwemer ruin and spend all my time after that jacking up smithing and enchanting.

I'm away from my home system right now, but I'm about 88 in one-handed, 60-70 in heavy armor, 50+ in destruction and restoration, 50-70 in sneak and lockpicking, 50 or so in enchanting. I've put some perks in heavy armor to get the one that makes the stuff weightless when worn, some in one-handed, and most now toward smithing and useful perks across the board.

I'm in the thieves guild and will do dark brotherhood after, so I want to wear some light armor and jack up the thieving abilities through use. I'm using the stone that provides a 15% bonus to everything, switching from the Thief Stone after I located the new one.

If you want to level smithing easy, make a bunch of iron daggers. Can buy the materials from the vendor next to your house in windhelm. I went from 30 to 100 in about 30 minutes with about 10k gold spent.

Just remember to save the daggers for when you decide to level enchanting (put the banish enchant on them for max profits)...

Same, which is why I dropped the 10k and just knocked it out. It was either grinding for materials and such or spending the money and having it done.

I get bored and want to watch a massive fight so I installed the battle script mod and watch Imperial vs Stormcloaks. Unfair though so I have to tip the numbers game to the Stormcloaks by spawning two groups vs the Imperials since they have mages and all heavy armor. Imp group=13 vs two Storm groups of 8 = 16. Imp. usually win.

                          Back to topic:

So I have it re-installed and going full thief set of skills. 1h, light armor, bow, sneak, pickpocket, lockpicking. I have already gotten to the point on sneak where sneak attacks with a dagger are 15x PLUS I attack so in sneak(because I took the time to find out when to click again for rapid fast attacks) and get about 3-4 hits(if not dead in two) of 15x damage, usually ending the special animation for assassinating. So cool btw. Lockpicking is too easy on master difficulty once you figure out the right sound the lock makes when you get to sweet spot. Once the sound is identified, wow, easy. Pickpocket, yeah...just easy as pie. It's almost 90 and I haven't put a point into it since this is PC and if I fail, reload. lol. Other than that, LA is around 20-30, 1h 405-45, and bow 25-30. No dragons yet because this is 2nd playthrough and I am not advancing the main story at all really. I am around lvl 30-35. Playing solo mode with no companions or war dog; just me and my horse(who runs away most fights, chicken-wuss). Killed a master vampire at level 5. HARD AS HELL! Attack a few times with sneak attack, RUN AWAY UNTIL YOU ARE BACK IN SNEAK MODE and rinse and repeat.

Easy place to find one. Back track from the beginning of the game to the city/town where you were about to be beheaded. Exit through the destroyed city/town's southeast gate that leads up the mountain. Follow the path until you come along a zigzag path downwards. This should go right along a cave. Go in and gave fun. I recommend sneaking if ya want to kill them before they revive some slaves to hurt ya. Last fight is hard as hell cuz they can re-animate each other after you kill them once. Essentially making you fight them all twice.
