I am debating whether to get the From Ashes DLC for Mass Effect 3. It allows you to recruit a Prothean squad member. So my question is to you guys who bought the Mass Effect 3 N7 Collector's Edition (or have bought the DLC). Is it worth it? Is the prothean pretty cool?

Just a soft opinion here - I got the collector's edition and enjoyed the Prothean conversations. For me, the integrated experience was worth it. However, I only took him on one squad mission because he died aggressively. -
He's ok, and it does add to the lore quite a bit, but in general as Qicmee says he's not the best squad member despite the unique abilities.
