    Favorite older games

One of the first games I ever played on the first computer my family bought was Monkey Island 2. I loved that game. It was so fun, great story, even though the ending was kind of corny. Back in 2010 they came out with it as an arcade download for XBOX (some updated graphics, butcould still switch to the original graphics if you wanted) and I was thrilled to have it in my life again.

Another adventure game that I really liked was Legend of Kyrandia. I really wish they would come out with this again. Not saying a remake, just the original with some enhanced graphics.

I'm sure there are more old games I could get my hands on, but these were just the first 2 that came to mind.

Anyone else wish they could get some games from their past again??

I got bored after the first couple of hours. Hack/slash/jump ... mash button.... repeat almost in the same order.

God of War is not an old game.

Master of Magic, Deus Ex, Transport Tycoon for the PC. River City Ransom for the NES. Some of the best games evah.

There was also a less known game for Sega Genesis called cyborg Justice, it was a beat 'em up. I loved how you could put together your own robot and even change out parts during gameplay by ripping off other robots arms etc.

Hmm let's see - the Descent series was one of my earliest game series I enjoyed, however Xwing/Tie Fighter/XwingvsTieFighter Series and Jedi Knight Dark Forces II were crazy fun for me!

Does anyone know the name of the mid 80's games where it was player vs player. There was a split screen and and several bases. You built units and your character could go from robot to jet and pick up a units. Units were motorcycles, armor, tanks or a seige type tank.
The idea of the game was to destroy the other teams main base.
I believe it was nintendo.. though it might have been the 2nd generation of sega.
