D&D for me always will remind me of meeting people in person. Food and many hours. I don't think it could work through cyber space in the same way.Comment

If it's based on the godawful 4th edition then it can't possibly feel like D&D. 4th E ruined everything, and they screwed up the Forgotten Realms (setting for Neverwinter) even more by really borking the continuity and history and jumping 100+ years into the future. Meh.

Rift is awesome FrogM! I've been hooked for the past day now. I'm seriously loving the free to play option and the diversity of the game is just unreal. There's so much to customize. I mean yeah it's another WoW platform, but I don't really care to be honest. It's got bows, it's got swords, and magic. I'm sure WoW has that, but I don't want to be a WoW loser. I want to be a Rift loser! LOL Sell my soul to the defiant side!Comment
