That is what the developers are saying about this PC only Arena FPS game that harkens back to older days. Some comments say it looks like a cross of Halo and Unreal Tournament. It is being built with the the UE3 engine. Like the older UT games there will be LAN play and dedicated servers that can be run from a high end PC or server or as a "listen" server for modest machines for small games. Probably not for Cain's because it doesn't currently look like it will support 32 or even 64 players.
Not free to play, but also won't have any micro-transactions, and not Pay to Win. There will be some release towards the end of the year it appears but you can purchase advanced access and help support development.
