So far Ive just been playing the SP mode. Its pretty cool. I sure the MP would be pretty sweet.

There is a little bug though that is preventing a batch of ppl from playing online...myself and a few others are working with Kaos Studios on their forums to help them get a fix...it is to be expected since they hat to patch and hotfix so early after release to fix Vista bugs

I only got to play for about an hour yesterday. I don't really have much of a feel yet. But will report back.


While the game has some interesting elements, one gets the feeling that THQ and Kaos were pressured into releasing this game before it was ready. The server side of this game was caught off guard, there are no dedicated server files available yet, no information on who will run servers, ranked or not, etc.

Not well launched at all. Game has potential, but so many other factors will have to come together for this title to have a chance of even basic success.

You can host an Multiplayer match from your own computer.

They have a few of their own servers for up to 64 players.

Other than that, no one can host a dedicated server for this game - at least until they distribute the files - something they say "they are working on"

When will companies learn that first impressions are everything in this business How many thousands of gamers wrote off UT3 because of the less than stellar demo? EXACTLY. This is what happens when suits make development decisions, rather than the people who know what's going on.

Well, I guess it's possible they can pull this game out of the dregs of mediocrity, but it sounds like it may be too daunting of a task given the current state of the game. Hope springs eternal though

BA they have released a list of Servers....if u have problems seein them in browser add ip manually I have pm'd u the IP's as Im not sure if Im alowd to post them here

Use the AirStrike and look up. Multiplayer has attack and transport type choppers, you fly, on this invasion map I played.

The server browser is very buggy, doesn't seem like anything has changed from the beta. No VoIP. I guess we should be use to this by now. I have only played a bit online, but it seems fun. Sniper+Drone recon seemed pretty easy for kills. I'll be able to play a lot more this weekend.
