The RE-Birth of Star Wars Galaxies

    SWG EMU

Ever since people of Sony Entertainment murdered this game....programmers during the past 2.5 years spend reprogramming the game to the way it was when it was first started.

They do this on their OWN free time, and this, apparently, sounds pleasing to alot of the Veteran SWG'ers. Free of charge.

PLUS, you don't have to pay a Monthly fee to play on their servers (you just need to run a program, so Sony's doesn't detect your game)

From what I hear, this is the buzz in the Star Wars universe, and thinking of trying it back out again.

I've played SWG for over 3 years now, and I can say that at least for the people that still play SWG they don't much like the emu. The SWG right now isn't bad. For me, the Emu won't even run.

I don't think it runs for anyone, thought it wasn't ready yet. I just heard the majority found a major disappointment in the current game.

There has been an emu version out for a year or so now. I even just tried running it now... it updated but it still crashes for me

Wonder what's causing the crash? Anything on their message boards dealing with this?

Well as you know the emulator isn't programmed by paid developers so they probably jerry-rig it together so that it works on their machine. And chances are they didn't do that in Vista and I have Vista

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
