Age of Conan:server selection

If anyone here is planning on trying the game out, if / when I do play, I'll be playing on the Zug server.

I have some longtime MMO friends who are going to play there along with some of my work collegues.

So if you do have plans to play, would be cool if we were on the same server.

I probably won't be playing at release, as they have some technical issues that I think I'll wait for them to iron out the go-live bugs before joining.

I'll be playing on the RP-PVP server...can't remember the name, but I know a lot of people from Dark Age of Camelot and some RL friends who will be playing there...think we have on the order of 30-40 people confirmed so far.

Cool. I'd go with an RP PVP as well, did so in WoW for a few months, but I fear the ganking in AOC is going to be that much worse.

The PvE servers in AOC remind me alot of DAOC. Standard PvE, with PvP Minigames (battlegrounds) and siege warfare PvP in open field combat.
So its very DAOCish

The PvP server opens PvP anywhere, anytime, between any levels (except for major cities I think).

I guess I've been around the MMO block a bit too often to be submitted to constant PvP. While fun, it gets irritating. And i can get my PvP fix in the Siege areas.
