Age of Conan seems to have gotten the MMO formula right. Anyone else playing?

I plan to, just not yet. Too many things going on for me to dedicate time to this game.

I'm also holding off a month as the beta showed many many technical issues that need to be fixed prior to launch.

The game has been stable and smooth as glass for me. Level 14 now, they brought the servers down for a few hours to patch. Withdrawal setting in, lol

People say the beta sucked, I would personally just get the Warhammer MMO coming out.

Most people I know who did both betas said that AoC was better than WAR.
And these are people with many years (preWoW) of MMO experience. Probably a total of about 10 people I know who did both and more like 20 who did each.

I started playing on Saturday, was a very very busy weekend for me though so I'm only level 11. Playing on the Cimmeria server primarily for RP-PVP and on Wiccania for RP-PVE when we don't want a PVP ruleset. I have about 30 people I know from DAoC + their RL friends and RL friends of mine who are all playing there. Guess we'll get a guild up and running at some point, hehe.

Gameplay was extremely smooth, no issues with quests or anything. This is probably the best launch I've ever seen for an MMO, as well as some of the best gameplay, not a single issue I've seen yet. And I've played probably every MMO out in the last 8 years in some way, shape, or form. I'm in love with the game already

I will be playing regularly on the Set server. I don't enjoy PVP very much in an MMO even though the combat system in this one is rather different from others so I am PVE for the fun of it. Character name is Zuroman, 16th level Herald of Xotli.

The one server I would not play on is Set, as the name sounds like something l33t kiddies would join simply cuz its a cool name so they can annoy the hell out of me.
